“We had the bad luck to have our one tour day on our week to Tokyo be the one day that week with poor weather. It was drizzling a light mist in Shinjuku when we found the hotel to meet up (inside the hotel), and we had a nice bus ride through the countryside. It was great to see the forests so different from my home in California, and the villages with little farm plots in between the houses. We got up to the mountain, and it was actually a bit clear, the sun came out and we saw a bit of blue sky, but it was still too cloudy…”

“Amazing! We loved learning about the history of Sumo as well as seeing the practice and what Sumo wrestlers do to get in shape and see how strong they are. We really enjoyed our authentic meal of what the wrestlers eat as well. The audience participation was so fun to watch and every single everyone was so warm and welcoming and fun! “Tour was in an os Ute area but subway took us there easily. The food was very good (more than I expected) and I learned a lot about sumo wrestling. They were very good about participation from the audience. Had a lot of fun.”
